| We currently meet at the Census Bureau in room T-1 (on the first floor by the auditorium). The Census Bureau is located at 4600 Silver Hill Road in Suitland, Maryland.
Anyone who has a Census Bureau identification badge can automatically enter the building. If you do not have a Census Bureau ID, you are welcome to attend as a visitor. It's a good idea to allow an extra 15 minutes to your travel time to clear security at the gate. Please follow the instructions below:
- Call one of the contacts below and tell them you wish to come as a guest to Toastmasters. It's a good idea to arrange for your visit ahead of time, if at all possible.
- Go to Gate 5 of the Suitland Federal Complex, at the light right across the street from Popeye's Chicken on Silver Hill Road. The guard will ask you to pull into the parking lot by the guard house.
- In the Guard house, you will be asked to show identification and sign in. Call your contact to arrange for him/her to meet you at the main entrance.
- Your car may be searched.
- The Guard will direct you to the visitor parking area. Enter the main lobby and wait for your contact to arrive to escort you to the meeting room.
If you are arriving by Metro: - Walk through the Metro parking garage and across the street to the Suitland Federal Center.
- Enter through Gate 7 and call your contact. You will be asked to show ID and sign in.
- The guard will direct you to enter the building.
- Wait in the lobby for your contact to come to escort you to the meeting
