Anyone who has a Census Bureau work identification card or who has any other federal government work identification card can automatically enter the building .

All others will need permission to get in, but that's easy. Just follow the instructions below:

Simply go to Gate 5 of the Suitland Federal Complex, at the light right across the street from Popeye's Chicken on Silver Hill Road and then call one of the following contacts and tell them you wish to come as a guest to Toastmasters.

Guests: If you have any problems reaching an officer, please call us in Room G-316 at 301-763-2641. Any Toastmaster in the room can let you in.

The guard will then issue you a pass. Go to Building 3. Once you enter Building 3, ask the guard for directions to Room G-16. (It's in the basement right next to the main cafeteria and directly across from the bank.)

SPECIAL TIP FOR METRO USERS: The Census Bureau is right next to the Suitland Metro Station. Across the parking lot is Gate 7. From there, follow the same instructions as you would at Gate 5 above.
